Alexandra M. Landeros has an MFA in Creative Writing from Texas State University (under the mentorship of Dagoberto Gilb). With parents from Aguascalientes, Mexico, she grew up in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles, earned an honorary Tejana badge after 20 years in Austin, and now lives in Durham, North Carolina with her husband, Daniel Reyes, and their daughter. When she's not being a chingona operations ninja with Poder NC, you can find her at a son jarocho fandango on the jarana or at jug band jam on the fiddle.

David Saldaña is an award-winning screenwriter (Rich Kids), illustrator (Mexicandroid), musician, and all-around creative type dude. He's originally from Austin, Texas, where he graduated from the University of Texas and spent years on the local theater and comedy scenes before packing it up and moving to Portland, Oregon. There he rode his bike, schlepped espresso, and began training Capoeira.  In 2012, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he lives with his wife and daughter. They like to hang out and eat food.
